Please see below for descriptions and pictures of common blinds parts. Remember that your required part may look slightly different than those pictured here.
Valance Clips
Hold Down Brackets
Hold down brackets are used to hold the bottom of the blind in place, mostly used for blinds mounted on doors.
Extension Brackets
Extension brackets are used to project a shade or blind from the wall.
Spacer Blocks
Spacer blocks are used to project a blind or shade away from the wall, primarily used on wood and faux wood blinds.
Mounting Brackets
Mounting brackets are used to attach the blind to the window, wall or door.
Cord Cleat
A cord cleat is used to wrap the excess cord when the shade is raised.
Tassel
A tassel is the knob at the bottom end of a cord.
Cord Joiner
The cord joiner is the plastic piece that has multiple cords coming into the top of it and one cord coming out of the bottom.
Tilt Wand
The tilt wand is used to tilt horizontal blinds up and down.
Valance
The valance is the decorative piece that covers the top portion of the blind.
